I'm really excited to try Corner Suite Bistro -- I think it's opening soon (if it hasn't already). Cassis yelp.ca/biz/cassis-bistr… is fantastic too but it is not as "fine dining" as I think you're looking for.

Christine K's suggestions are fantastic too - I'm waiting on a special occasion to try Cioppinos!

It is Italian, rather than French, but yelp.ca/biz/cibo-trattor… is just superb! Excellent food and service.

Bacchus might also be quite your style! I've only had lunch here - but it is fine dining for certain. yelp.ca/biz/bacchus-rest…
