Can anyone recommend people who clean gutters and ballpark what an appropriate price is?
I know it's dependent on a few factors... other than length of gutters i don't know i guess...

I have ZERO knowledge on even a ballpark number.

If anyone also wants to recommend their people.
IT looks like a general search on yelp shows that everyone is terrible at cleaning gutters.

Ask for several quotes and don't let them scare you about cracks in the gutter that is leaking water into the house. Also check BBB and ask if you can talk to their clients. If they say NO, I put them on the bottom of my list regardless how cheap the quote is.

There were a few guys that came around our neighbourhood offering to give free quotes for gutters, DON'T LET THEM IN THE YARD!!..

One of our neighbours did and they were robbed, the insurance agent told them most likely they were thieves casing out the places. Also, even if they offer to do the work, they are not credible and if there are any damages to your house or if they break your gutters and downspouts, it will cost you more to repair.

thank you Sarah!  Good lord.. I  haven't had to think about this stuff- like home repair, maintenance or security for awhile since I lived in a condo for so long.... Houses are kinda stressful

from online I'm seeing people ballpark 130-200 for a medium-large house.

Yep - $150-$200 is about right.

Prices you have sound about right but depends on height, dormers, size of trees, etc.

Holland home services - My neighbours referred me as they've used them for many years. Positive experience on my end with a cleaning and gutter capping.  If you own the place do the math as it's much less expensive to cap them with a ten year no clog guarantee than to have them cleaned 1-2 times a year (was $750 or so for the bad areas that needed it from surrounding trees).  In my case also figured it had the added bonus of keeping me alive by not declogging over flowing gutters mid rain storm (damn you huge oxygen giving but leaf dropping trees!).

*sigh* Being an adult is lame.

I clean my mom's gutters. It's easy. I get paid in apple pie. Sometimes brisket. One year she did hire someone for around $150.

Make sure they have insurance if they damage something or fall off the roof
