I usally end up at CC or Joey's out of convenience and they aren't even open so late for food, but does anyone know any good places open after midnight? Not bar star type of places, just good food and preferably not dt. I would love to try somewhere new.

I would check on Yelp, but the hours are inevitably wrong which is one thing that bugs me about this site. I always end up at places that claim to be open and are no longer serving food. Thx!

Damso on Denman! 2:30 or 3:00 am every night! Modern Korean food. Pretty small, less than 20 seats but really tasty food!

Buckstop (bbq) on Denman and Espana (tapas) on Denman both do amazing food till 2am

The Fat Badgers, same owners as Espana, is open late as well if I remember correctly. Mary's Hamburger Diner on Davie, but that's of questionable quality.

The Gourmet Castle in East Van on Hastings kitty corner to the PNE grounds (is open to 3am in think??...) and has Chinese, Japamese and Vietnamese food on their menu.

siegels does not really have an atmosphere. I mean a place like a trendy restaurant or gastrpub . Vancouver  is seriously lacking.

I think there just AREN'T any places!

In my area, there is lack of restaurants that are not Asian/noodle/pho places.  And the one 24 hour place i of course a pho place.

you are right. I went to biercraft. they weren't bad and the service was great (on commercial.)

If ever in Santa Monica late at night (after the plane, 15 m from lax) try the Misfit. This is my fave, ultra-cas, late night place and it's amazing. I guess I am hoping to find the same.

Also, Haven in Orange (a city in Orange County most of us miss in yvr) where the best burgers are found.
