    Hi all,
I will be in Victoria for a few days next month.  Any recommendations for good Chinese/Asian restaurants in and around Victoria?  Thanks!

J&J Wonton Noodle House on Fort Street has fantastic Chinese food. Ikyu Noodles in Chinatown is interesting and different.
Lemongrass Thai in Cadboro Bay is excellent. Also Sookjai Thai on Fort Street.
Foo Ramen Bar (tiny place but mighty!) downtown
Shizen Sushi near China town is fresh and excellent.
Also check out Noodle Box - 2 locations downtown. Super fun, eat in or take out. Sutra Indian at the Hundon Market is delicious.
Not Asian, but folks in Victoria love breakfast... Check out Jam Cafe, Shine Cafe, the Blue Fox.

Golden City Restaurant, 721 Fisgard St.
    Ming's Restaurant, 1321 Quadra St.
Jade Fountain, 3366 Douglas St., within the Red Lion Inn & Suites - apparently good for Dim Sum

  1. It's Victoria here we come as well ... a 3-night stay in mid-late February, so watching this thread!!

We especially enjoy seeking out smaller, downtown and in-the-neighbourhood, locally-known eateries, that offer good value dining.  Ethnic fare is a big 'yes', we much-enjoy most Asian foods (especially Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese).  And might there be any Ukrainian (Russian, German) options?

Cheers ... and looking forward to dining around in Victoria!!
