It has been far too long since we had a fun thread active here (our little word association game died almost a year ago :( ). So, I have decided to try and start one of my favourite forum games.

It works fairly simply. The first person makes a wish like "I wish I had a billion dollars", the next person then corrupts that wish "Granted, it falls from the sky as coins and smashes you flat" and then makes a wish of their own, the next person corrupts that wish and so forth. It's a touch vindictive, but fun if you get creative with your corruptions.

Let me get the ball rolling

I wish for a pet cat to keep me company.

Granted, it sends you one-way to the south pole.

I wish to be able to draw well

I wish it was sunny

^^ Granted. The sun bears down at 1000X normal power and toasts the surface of the earth to a crisp

^Granted, they can now play this game properly but can now only otherwise communicate in internet memes

I wish I could get free television

Granted, you're now winning at a Piano catching competition!

I wish I had 20/20 vision.

Granted you have 20/20 vision and in the next windstorm, a pine needle pokes you in the eye and you have no glasses to protect you.

I wish I had more patience....

Granted, you starve to death patiently waiting for food to come to you.

I wish for pie!

Granted, enjoy your "hot" cocoa, made with our house blend of habañero, scotch bonnet and ghost peppers with the finest chocolate new jersey has to offer.

I wish my Xmas shopping was finished

Granted, your shopping is done and now your credit card bills have arrived with a special new interest rate of 39%.  Seasons Greetings!

I wish I could sleep all week....

Granted, after you get into bed, a chunk of the ceiling above you falls on your face, knocking you out for your cherished week of "sleep."

I wish my advent calendar was more exciting.

Granted, it will snow for Xmas 2012. However, the nutcases will have turned to be right and the snow will simply float off in the vacuum of space, the earth having been vaporized 2 days previous.

I wish for the willpower to keep my New Year's resolution this year.

Granted, your resolutions result in the demise of others as they try and help you out.

I wish for the return of Knight Rider.

Granted, Knight Rider returns to the airwaves starring Pauly Shore as Micheal Knight and Christopher Walken as the voice of KITT.

I wish that I had telekinetic powers.
