Hi, Im from Victoria BC, Canada.

So I went to Seattle about 8 years ago with family and we did the Zoo, EMP and space needle. 2 years ago I went on my own (no one has time off) and loved it. I did the underground tour, the chihuly garden and glass, which was beautiful, The Aquarium, the duck tour bus/boat thing and other basic tourist stuff. Im wanting ideas of what to do this summer.

I suggest taking a ferry to Bainbridge Island ($9 roundtrip adult walk-on passenger). You catch it downtown on the pier and it drops you off fairly close to downtown Bainbridge. Bainbridge has cute little shops and restaurants, and if you take the ferry early enough (a 10 am ferry) I would HIGHLY suggest Bloedel Reserve. You can take a shuttle from the pier and it drops you off right in front. It's a large and gorgeous garden reserve.

Also, the ferry ride itself is beautiful.

I would also suggest a kayak or canoe outing from the University of Washington on the lake. It's only $10 per hour!

I would suggest a leisurely walk around the Olympic Sculpture Park.  Also shopping/window shopping downtown.

Thanks Marcella M. Ive driven past Olympic Sculpture Park a few times but never had time to wander around it. I think I will have to this time. I finally booked my trip and will be there for the 4th of July and a friend who lives there said to see the fireworks from the Space Needle.
