Got a reservation at 8pm and we were seated near the mini stage which got us a little excited hoping to hear live bands since we missed it due to the pandemic we all have been through. However, I guess its a little early as we left without hearing the band perform.
Despite that, the vibe was still a great experience, staffs were accommodating and knowledgeable with their menu as we got a little help ordering, the foods recommended were all given a thumbs up from us.

      Foods we ordered were:

      Chicken Lollipop ($14)
      Fried Calamari ($14)
      3's Chicken Gizzard ($4.99)
      Tom Yang Seafood ($25)
      Seafood Fish Maw Soup ($26)
      Sweet and Sour Prawn ($25)
      Tobiko Fried Rice ($22)
      Open Beer ($26)

To be honest, we were astounded with how good the chicken lollipop, seafood fish maw soup and tom yang soup tasted, we really liked it. Tobiko rice has lots of seafood meat and is good for two to three person. Sweet and sour prawn and calamari tasted good but not that crispy and the chicken skewer was not much liked as we prefer gizzard with sauce. Then just to chill a little we had the open beer which is cool and pretty. Lastly, their free ice cream dessert was my type of taste, I liked that its not that sweet yet flavoursome.

For the price, some are pricey but for most of the food I think it was decent considering the taste and the quality.

And of course for their well known LED lighted interior, as some mentioned its way more appreciated when its more darker or late night for a more vibrant light effects. I still did enjoyed though, the floor and the washroom area but not much on the walls. Heads up, the washroom is confusing at first as you get to stand in front of some kind of vending snack machine, turned out those were the washroom doors .

Overall, I did enjoy my experience at Teamlab, recommended to try them out, and will for sure come ba to try their other menus and maybe when its more night time.

Arrived for 6:30pm. Too early to see the full light experience due to the natural light from the windows.

In the front a large video wall and virtual projector circle.

Food was quickly delivered. Got the Tiger Prawns on Crispy Noodle that was pretty standard. Good portion of prawns.

Pineapple Fried Rice was more sticky that I expected. Had mixed seafood inside (squid, prawns).

Also had fried ham (hotdog?) And beef skewers.

Some of the light effects started to show up closer to 8pm. 8:30pm they have a live band (Fri & Sat?)

A new restaurant concept at night where it seems you're in a club-like atmosphere.

Happy to say the food was quite good and a fun experience. Started with my favourite dish which are the chicken gizzard skewers. Great spice and they were pleasantly crunchy, chewy and tasty! Next up is their chili chicken. If you notice, it's not all green peppers but sliced chili peppers so it's got a good kick! Their angus beef noodles were very good and I mixed the chicken chili together resulting in a great medley of flavours.

We also had their beef and prawn skewers. Same seasoning but gizzards are tastier than the beef and shrimp. Last up is their chicken popsicles. Not frozen and they use the bone as the "popsicle stick". Very tender and yummy!

Overall, a great dining experience and atmosphere with a solid food offering.

What a fun and entertaining experience dining in at TeamLab Music Restaurant & Bar! With LED lights, music and live music (at 8pm) the evening was an amazing experience. Even when going to the restroom the floor leading to restroom has light show on the floor. Thank goodness no light show in the restroom as I sure I'd be confused where the porcelain throne is

I recommend coming at 7:30pm as it gets darker at 8pm (well right now early Sept) as sunset will shift earlier. The LED lights come alive after sunset. I really enjoy live music as I appreciate musical talent.

The food is delicious! We ordered chicken lollipop, skewers (marinated beef, chicken gizzard and jumbo tiger prawn), angus beef noodles and spicy chili pork belly. The pork belly is spicy, if you like it hot you'd love this dish! So much on the menu. Best to come with a group as there are many unique dishes to try together with variety.

This was an unique and memorable experience. The atmosphere was definitely creative and suitable for the dining experience. Love the vibrant colours and motions to go along with the yummy food.

Who doesn't love marinated lambs, beef and crispy intestines on skewers, smoky aroma and fatty meat were the ultimate combo.

The very classic basa in pickled mustard broth was slightly thickened which coated the gentle fish really well, making it extra flavourful.

The aburi scallops and chicken lollipops were innovative and fun to eat, perfect for sharing.

Tobiko Fried Rice looked amazing and had great fragrance and texture, seasoned superbly.

The squash in seafood broth was heartwarmingly delishious. A creamy chicken and seafood based stock and bean thread noodles soaking up all the wonderful umami flavours without going soggy. Awesome dish!

We suggest going there after 5PM because that's when their lighting go live.

My impression of Team Lab was that they are facing an identity crisis and need to decide what type of restaurant they want to be - is it a music lounge or an actual restaurant?

As a music lounge, there is more room for forgiveness as the dishes are less than mediocre however, the environment and vibe of the space makes up for this weakness. This would be a great place to have drinks with your friends. As a restaurant, I believe there would be more emphasis on the quality of the food. In this sense, Team Lab was really disappointing. The quality of the ingredients was below standard. For instance, it seemed as the "seafood" used in all the dishes we ordered came from the same bag of frozen seafood mix one would be able to find at Costco. The fried rice we ordered was also flavourless and moist. The sauce was not even equally stirred as there were clumps of plain white rice amidst the dish.

I truly wanted to enjoy my dining experience here but the breaking point for me was when we waited over an hour for our $22 "Crabmeat Spaghetti" only to be served a ridiculously small plate of a few strands of noodles drenched in alfrado sauce (see attached photo). The moment the server placed this down on our table, my group were so flabberghasted that we all had to turn away to muffle our laugh - it was so absurd it was simply ridiculous.

Advertised as a "music lounge", one would also assume that there would be decent or at least a variety of music, right? Despite the live music setup and even a DJ booth in the corner, Team Lab chose to play Ed Sheeran's 5-6 songs on repeat the entirely of my 2 hours there.

Unfortunately, my dining experience here was just very disappointing. As a restaurant, I will not be coming back. However, I can foresee myself coming back for drinks with the mentality that Team Lab is a music lounge/bar rather than a food service.

This is actually my 2nd visit and I have to say there is definitely an improvement in terms of the food and innovation! If you're coming in the summer, totally recommend coming later in the evening to enjoy the lights.

I always heard they had pretty cool cocktails and drinks here. This time I decided to order a drink and I was amazed! We got their summer special and the watermelon + soju combination was so refreshing. Not to mention it was such an eyecatcher~ The food was pretty good, even the Fungus Fried Rice! Not normally a fried rice fan but it was so fragrant! The Cumin Beef was extremely well spiced and flavoured.

The lights, projector and floor were super cool, it's just a really fun space to be in. Some people say the price is a bit high but having gone to many interactive restaurants in other countries, I think the price is okay as there is no entry fee or time limit. I really want to come next time again maybe for an event or live show!

Trying a new places always comes with a bit of excitement and this place is taking the name of the famed Team labs to new territory. The aesthetic of having a light show along the pathway does the team labs name a bit of justice... however thats where it start to head down hill.

The portions of the fried chilli chicken were paultry in comparison to the price as it was around 10 pieces of chicken.

The skewers were what i was most excited for and what surprised me the most was the lack of portions for the skewers. Essentially the piece of meat used was stretched out into a thin layer the size of ones pinky finger.

Overall for a new restaurant the hype was not worth the wait as portions were meager and the food was subpar.

Overall a disappointing experience. Service wasn't great. We waited 30 minutes just to get two drinks, everything we ordered was brought out at random times. We paid $25 for chili chicken that was mostly chili and friend chunks of chicken bones. $31 for lamb covered in smoke that smelled like cigarettes. Wouldn't go back. That said, the projectors on the walls were cool.

I've been wanting to try this place for so long due to the popular demand. We went last night and it was pretty disappointing. This place was definitely overhyped. There was particular items that we wanted to try but was unavailable so we just decided to settle on their beef screwers and the watermelon soju for drinks. Be aware the watermelon soju has a full bottle of peach soju in it on this drink is something you can share with another person if you can't handle it. But it was very delicious! I just wish that they blended the watermelon down just a bit so that way you can drink it with the soju. They carved watermelon balls and we ate them soaked with soju. Beef screwers were questionable. They did not taste like beef and we think that might have given us lamb screwers on accident. They had a decent menu but a lot of it was very expensive. There's two prices to all items on the menu. One listed as a regular price while the other was listed as vip so I'm assuming there must be a membership that I find not worth it unless your eating here twice a week minimum. We didn't enjoy it at all. Service was absolutely terrible. We had to ask at least twice for someone to even pay us any mind. Since we didn't try other things on the menu I can't quite say it was any good or not but so far it wasn't impressive. However, there was a decent crowd in there for a Friday night so I'm sure the food is decent. If we are ever in the area again we might give it another go.
