News: 1 day agoThe Giants reinstated Beck (arm) from the 60-day injured list Sunday.

Spin: Beck will join the big club for the first time all season after completing his recovery from surgery to address an upper right arm aneurysm, which cropped up during spring training. The right-hander got stretched out to 56 pitches and three innings over his five minor-league rehab outings, so he be an option for the rotation if the Giants elect to expand to six men at some point in September. For the time being, however, Beck will likely serve as a multi-inning reliever.
