Lafayette (August 8, 2024) – The Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) is hosting cybersecurity training this week with a focus on law enforcement professionals. The Introduction to Cybersecurity for Leadership course includes explaining cybersecurity threats, teaching what to do in the event of a cybersecurity incident and planning factors for incident response.
The Hurricane Preparation Worksheet can be used as a planning guide during tropical events. This worksheet talks about key decision points in the States H-Hour Timeline along with some general storm terminology that is used for tropical systems.
