We couldn’t wait until February to bring you this adorable musical, inspired by the hilarious film starring Bill Murray. Groundhog Day features a book by original co-screenwriter Danny Rubin, and music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Tim Minchin (Matilda the Musical). It is February 2^nd in Punxutawney, Pennsylvania and a storm is coming.  Phil Connors, a big-city weatherman, couldn’t be more frustrated to be reporting on the small-town Groundhog Day Ceremony – until he finds himself reliving the same day over and over again. Stuck in an endless loop of arrogance and cynicism amongst the cheery townsfolk, Phil must learn to take advantage of his 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th chances, break the cycle and transform his life. $30  PG13

Filled with hilarious repartee and humorously acerbic verbal lacerations, the play deepens when the spunky Shelby (who is diabetic) contradicts her doctor’s advice and risks pregnancy. Steel Magnolias exemplifies the universal and unconditional strengths of sisterhood, resilience, and love. $22/$20 PG
