There's no question breakfast burritos are one of the most beloved breakfast items in LA. The prolific gut-busting morning meal can be found here and here and here, but what about the breakfast taco? The egg-filled tortillas that are so ubiquitous on the streets of Austin just aren't that easy to find in the City of Angeles, but after some digging, we found these spots for those who want to eat tacos at all hours of the day:

It is probably safe to call HomeState, Los Feliz’s own Texas-inspired restaurant, the preeminent breakfast taco dealer in town. When your tacos arrive all wrapped up in pieces of foil, it’s not hard to imagine yourself right on the streets of Austin.

Not everyone knows that Guisados is also in the breakfast taco game. Served until 11 am (or earlier if they run out of eggs), the LA taco institution sells its breakfast variant for $2.45. And with plenty of options that range from chorizo to potato to hot dog, there’s a little something for everyone.
