Police identify man wanted for thefts from Toledo-area fitness centers

With the public's help, Toledo police have identified a man wanted for breaking into lockers at local fitness facilities this past summer.

Carl R. Kopietz is wanted on burglary, larceny, and forgery charges. He was identified by police through a tip after posting surveillance photos from local gyms.

Kopietz, 41, is said to have stolen items from lockers inside various Toledo-area gyms. He then used his victims' credit cards.

The suspect's last known address was in Flat Rock, Mich., according to police.
