Another one bites the dust.
Angie Harmon and Jason Sehorn have called it quits after 13 years of marriage, reports People.
“For the sake of their children, they ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this time in their lives,” Harmon’s rep told the mag.
The pair, 42 and 43, respectively, led a somewhat public life. They got engaged on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” in 1998.
Today, the soon-to-be exes have three children: Finley, 11, Avery, 9, and Emery, 5.
The long distance between the actress and the former St. Louis Rams and New York Giants player may have contributed to their downfall.
In 2011, Harmon dished to YourTango on splitting her time between Los Angeles, where her TNT drama “Rizzoli & Isles” is filmed, and Charlotte, NC, where her family lives. “We don’t get out Friday nights early enough to catch a flight home,” she said. “So I’m here. We sometimes meet in Texas, a 2 1/2-hour flight for both of us. I miss my kids, so it’s hard, but my children are so understanding.”
When asked how she keeps her marriage “solid and happy,” Harmon added, “You have to be really considerate of each other, really kind to each other. It’s a lot of work, really.”
This is Harmon’s first divorce and Sehorn’s second.
