Greetings! Welcome to ILL REPUTE! the podcast about women, and women first. Hosted by writer and comedian Sovereign Syre, and former librarian and VR innovator Ela Darling. We are podcast for and about women, gays, and theys, from deep dive historical profiles, to episodes focusing on a broad range of topics that disproportionately impact women. Whether its a five part series on Calamity Jane, or a one off about Borderline Personality Disorder, we aim to make complex topics accessible and most importantly, funny. We are a podcast built by hoes for hoes and people that love hoes.This podcast started out four years ago, and was originally co-hosted by Siouxsie Q James. After Covid hit, and life got crazy, we put the show on hiatus. Siouxsie became a producer in the adult industry, while Sovereign sold a screenplay to a streaming network and spent a couple years in development. During the writer's strike, she decided to revive the podcast, this time enlisting the help of her bestie, and all around girl genius, Ela Darling.Together, with the help of producer Joshua, Sov and Ela have changed the format and scope of the show. Episodes are heavily researched and scripted, and we include a wide range of topics, analyzed and critiqued from a feminist perspective, while still retaining the humor and brass of the original show.Our vision for the show includes taking the show on the road for live performances, as well as publishing a text book on the history of the world, from a hoe's perspective.We hope you join us on our mission to flip the script on women's history and issues.
