Last night, Lorde held a surprise concert in southern California at Pappy & Harriet’s, a 300-capacity venue in Pioneertown, CA. She announced the show on her Twitter earlier in the evening, with tickets priced at $20 to celebrate her being 20 years old; it sold out immediately. The singer-songwriter performed a set that included several new songs off her forthcoming sophomore album Melodrama. Check out clips of new songs below. Among them are “Sober,” a song identifiable by the “My hips have missed your hips” lyric revealed in Lorde’s New York Times interview, and more.
