I highly recommend it! In 2024, it was my first time experiencing this kind of hormonal acne and it was the worst. I went to Shoppers and the pharmacist recommended Spectro blemish-prone skin gel. Voila, I still have these acne scars, but the acne and blemishes have subsided for more than a month now.

This medication was not good for me, I had severe side affects while taking Spironolactone 50 MG . My hands and feet would become numb, I had trouble breathing and my heart rate was irregular. I thought I was just being paranoid but I kept having issues breathing and while working out I started itching not just normal itching it was a warm sensation over my whole body then I went into a itch attack. I was scared when I had it call the emergency line 911 , I thought to myself pay attention to what your body is saying ! I completely stopped taking the medication now I am not dehydrated, I still have not started back lifting and I want to so bad fitness is apart of my lifestyle. I made the decision to not take the medication and I will have a conversation with my provider. This medication might work for some people however, not me. I was prescribed this medication because my testosterone Levels were high , facial hair growth was like that of a male , and I was diagnosed with PCOS. The medication was supposed to assist with my acne, that was a flop , but I guess I’m being dramatic it helped some. It’s just been so many years so many different medications and nothing has helped my acne . My acne has gotten worse, over the years, I won’t go out because I look horrendous. I just want to provide my honest truth about this medication, be safe and make sure you advocate for yourself, know your body and when it speaks to you pay attention!!
