DR. YARI SANTANA SELECTED 2024 ALUMNA OF THE YEAR

Dr. Yaritza Santana has been named 2024 Alumna of the Year at Camden County Technical Schools (CCTS). She is a 2013 graduate of the district’s Pennsauken Campus and will be honored on June 17th with a plaque during the high school graduation ceremony of her alma mater.

CCTS STUDENTS WIN AT TEEN ARTS FESTIVAL

Congratulations to the winners of the Teen Arts Festival from Camden County Technical Schools. These students are in the Graphic Arts and Design career program at our Pennsauken Campus and entered the digital art category.

CCTS LEADERSHIP JROTC Air Force ON FOX 29

Mrs. Jenn Frederick from Good Day Philadelphia, Local Fox 29, filmed a segment featuring the Leadership JROTC Air Force cadets.

CCTS CULINARY CHAMPION FEATURED ON GOOD DAY PHILADELPHIA

Fox 29's Jenn Frederick was at the Gloucester Township Campus of CCTS on May 15th to interview Mr. Timothy Witcher, Culinary Arts Chef Instructor, and Bryant Wilson. Bryant is a junior in Culinary Arts and placed first and won a gold medal at the NJ SkillsUSA competition earlier this month. He now qualifies to compete in the National competition.

The Gloucester Township Campus of CCTS was proud to celebrate its "Camden County Best of Class" recipients on May 13th during a recognition ceremony at Camden County College. The students were recognized for their excellence in the following categories: Best Overall, School Spirit, Outstanding Athlete, Most Improved, Most Courageous, Best Community Service, Outstanding Leadership, and Performing Arts.

ALLIED HEALTH CAREER STUDENTS 100% PASSING RATE ON CNA EXAM

Each year, the seniors in Allied Health Careers, patient care pathway, take the Certified Nurse Assistant Exam. We are pleased to report that there was a 100% passing rate for every CCTS senior who took the exam. See the list below of students who can now proudly add "CNA" after their name! Our students are really going places.

CCTS CULINARY TEAM WINS THREE AWARDS AT COUNTY NJAC COMPETITION

Congratulations to our Culinary Arts staff and students for winning three awards at the 2024 New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) Vocational-Technical School annual Cook Off.

SkillsUSA wins Chapter Award, Advisor of the Year Award, and 11 Medals

Advisors and members from Camden County Technical Schools and throughout New Jersey attended the SkillsUSA Chapter Championship Award Ceremony on April 18th. CCTS had 11 students place and win medals in their categories.

WELCOME NEW DIRECTORS OF TEACHING, LEARNING AND ASSESSMENT

During the April Board of Education meeting, two current staff members were named as Directors of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment: Karen Gill and Jessica Tosti. They began their new post on May 1st and will work collaboratively, supporting our district’s mission, and continuing to serve our students and staff.

CCTS WIN AWARDS AT SJ REGIONAL FLORAL SHOW AND COMPETITION

CCTS HONORS STAFF MEMBERS OF THE YEAR

Six staff members from Camden County Technical Schools (CCTS), three from each campus, were honored during the December Board of Education meeting for being selected as Teachers of the Year, Support Staff Members of the Year, and Educational Services Professionals of the Year. The Business Partner of the Year was also honored.

FFA STUDENTS PLACE SECOND IN STATE TURF COMPETITION

CCTS CELEBRATES Veterans Day

CCTS celebrated all Veterans this year on Wednesday, November 8th. Sponsored annually by the Leadership/JROTC Air Force career program, the ceremony was held outdoors and featured the presentation of colors and flag salute, three speakers, music by our Vocal Academy Choir, Taps performed by Paul Wingate, Vocal Music Academy student, and a beautiful fresh floral wreath made by the FFA.

Camden County Technical School is excited to announce we will be providing TI- 84 Plus CE Graphing Calculators (with the charging cords) to all currently enrolled students taking a mathematics course at each campus
