What's New in Licensing

The Office of Administrative Law approved the emergency regulatory action concerning licensing and certification fees. The regulations are effective on Monday, August 5, 2024. Please view Licensing and Certification Program Fee Table for new fee amounts.

Renewal Season 2023

We have concluded the 2023 license renewal season. We will continue to process late renewals in the order received. If anything is missing and we are unable to process your application, you will receive a problem notification letter by email.

You may visit the List of Valid DPR Licensees to determine if the license or certificate card has been updated.

About Licensing

DPR's Licensing and Certification Program is responsible for examining and licensing or certifying qualified pesticide applicators, pest control aircraft pilots, pest control dealer designated agents, and agricultural pest control advisers. DPR also licenses businesses that sell or apply pesticides or use pest control methods/devices for hire (i.e., pest control business, maintenance gardener pest control business, pest control dealer, and pesticide broker).
