Some key takeaways include: Mandatory reimbursement: from October 7, 2024, UK payment providers must reimburse APP fraud victims, with costs split 50:50 between sending and receiving providers. Scope and protections: the rules apply to all Faster Payments participants, with special protections for vulnerable customers exempting them from certain exceptions.
