Our mission is to share the story of our food, from seed to harvest, introducing you to the people, places, and practices involved along the way.

Our philosophy is to provide you with a beautiful and thoughtful dining experience, while supporting our local food community. We could not do what we do without the people who farm, fish, ferment, brew and craft in this little corner of Connecticut. We look forward to welcoming you to our table.

In the kitchen is Chef/Partner Renee Touponce, a James Beard Award Finalist for Outstanding Chef 2024, and Best Chef Northeast 2023. Renee leads the culinary team at both Oyster Club and our sister restaurant, The Port of Call.

Leading the bar program is Jade Ayala, bar director of both Oyster Club and The Port of Call.

The Treehouse at Oyster Club

An indoor/outdoor treetop oasis above the Mystic River serving
New England seafood shack classics.

The Treehouse is an outdoor dining deck above Oyster Club, perched in the Trees with sweeping views of downtown Mystic and the river. We are not on the river, but adjacent to the river.

  • Treehouse Hours: Open daily at 12pm through Labor Day.

  • NO RESERVATIONS, WALKINS ONLY MEMORIAL DAY TO LABOR DAY
    Closes at 8pm Sunday through Thursday, and at 9pm on Friday & Saturday.

  • Treehouse is an extension of Oyster Club, with the same amazing crew, sourcing philosophy and standards of hospitality, in a slightly more casual atmosphere and the ability to dine outside.

  • From Labor Day to Memorial Day (Fall, Winter & Spring) the Treehouse serves the same menu as Oyster Club. During this time we also accept reservations and the Treehouse hours are the same as Oyster Club.

  • From Memorial Day to Labor Day (Summer) the Treehouse shifts to our summer menu, inspired by a classic New England seafood shack. We’ll be serving lobster rolls, smash burgers, salads, raw bar and more, alongside the best outdoor bar in all of Mystic! In the summertime, the Treehouse does not take reservations, and operates on a first come - first served basis.

  • The Treehouse has a section that is tented, enclosed and heated on chilly days. Generally we keep the Treehouse open through the Holidays, weather permitting.
