To understand our fellow humans, we must examine these worldviews that are rooted in the religious and cultural contexts of diverse communities. Only by carefully considering and analyzing these differences can we understand how others perceive the world and act within it.

The Chabad Lubavitch movement is an important and growing aspect of contemporary Judaism in the Lehigh Valley and the Northeastern United States more generally. Teaching a return to traditional ritual practices, this group defies contemporary trends away from formal observance of ancient custom. This conversation will shed light on the relationship of this group to other forms of Judaism and consider its local manifestations in the context of the larger movement.
