Years after the collapse of civilization, the tyrannical Immortan Joe enslaves apocalypse survivors inside the desert fortress the Citadel. When the warrior Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) leads the despot's five wives in a daring escape, she forges an alliance with Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), a loner and former captive. An action masterpiece. Easy must watch if you enjoy the Mad Max universe/saga and some good ol' action. Sure, not having Mel Gibson as Max is sad, but Tom Hardy really delivers. Talking about delivering, Charlize as Furiosa is *chef's kiss*. Solid story, great acting and awesome action scenes! 10/10 action movie. Watched many times.
