Great Banks's Fine Fettle at the Dog & Gun pub (Aughton)

Visited the Dog & Gun (Aughton) last night & tried the guest: Banks's Fine Fettle.This 4.2% session ale was FAB! tangy malt & hop bitterness

Ploughman's Lunch - in a bag!

Had a few good pints of Jennings 1828 in my local pub (The Dog & Gun, Aughton) on Thursday night with a few pals. One got the beers in and some bar snacks including a 'Ploughman's Lunch Snack Pack':


Two cream crackers, a Laughing Cow cheese triangle, a knife/spreader and three little pickled onions in a vacuum packed bag! It's pure genius and my friend consumed it in no time!

Lovely Deuchars IPA in the Queens Head (Ormskirk)

Great St Austell Proper Job in the Queens Head (Ormskirk)

Delicious Jennings World's Biggest Liar in the Dog & Gun pub (Aughton)

Visited the Dog & Gun (Aughton) last night & had some of the Jennings guest ale: World's Biggest Liar - this 4.3% ale is absolutely lovely!
