Summer Learning Opportunities
Summer is a great time for educators to rest, rejuvenate, and refine their toolkits for use in the coming school year. Below are some events we'd like to highlight as great professional learning opportunities during the Summer of 2024:
- Creating Connections to Shining Stars (July 16-18 at The Hotel Roanoke)
- The "Me" in ImpleMEntation: Supporting Communication and Behavior through AAC (July 24 in Abingdon, July 25 in Roanoke)

Library Checkout Period Update!
Beginning June 3, 2024 the T/TAC at Virginia Tech will be extending the length of library material loans for all items to 8 weeks. With this new extended loan period, items may not be renewed. However, once an item is returned to our office, patrons may check them out again through our library check out process if there is not a waiting list for the item.
