WHAT WE DO
UNA-USA_Twitter Profile Photo_900x900.pn

We work within our community to educate and advocate on behalf of the United Nations. With your support, we are proud to:

  • Host dinner forums, panel discussions, and a variety of informational events led by policy experts and respected practitioners.

  • Participate in cultural celebrations in and around the East Bay.

  • Engage in advocacy work with local and national politicians in order to influence key policies and legislative priorities.

  • Promote issue based programs to address climate change, human rights, poverty, global health, and sustainable development.

  • Support a Young Professionals network of local, internationally minded, young professionals.

WHY WE NEED YOU

Around the world, the United Nations is working to protect human rights and confront the world's most complex challenges -- but it can't do it alone.

Now more than ever, we need your support to ensure the vital work of the United Nations can continue.

Together we can demand full funding for key programs, we can strengthen US leadership in the world, and we can work together to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

Heart & Hands

"While the UN is standing up for the world, we're standing up for the UN."
