Takeaway of the Day
A heat advisory will be in effect for cities away from the coast today as hotter weather arrives. Patchy morning clouds will break for full sunshine between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Highs will be warmer than yesterday in the mid 60s to the upper 90s.
Our heat risk will remain in the minor to moderate category meaning this is not the hottest day we have experienced this summer, but those sensitive to heat should take precautions.
