AC Milan have officially confirmed on their website the permanent move of Charles de Ketelaere to Atalanta after his season on loan.

As per our previous reports and confirmation from Antonio Vitiello, Milan received 3 million euros for his loan and will now get 22 million euros as the buy out with 2 million in bonuses. The total compensation for CDK is 27 million euros and Milan will receive 10% of any future sale of the Belgian international.

De Ketelaere put up some impressive numbers this season as he played 50 games, scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists. His goal contributions helped Atalanta secure 4th place in Serie A but more importantly to win the UEFA Europa League bringing a first ever European title to Bergamo as Atalanta lifted their first silverware in 61 years.

CDK is now part of the core group of the Belgium national team and will feature at the Euros this summer ahead of a Champions League return for Atalanta next year.
