    Timothy Mangnall and I go back what feels like a long way now. He was one of the first web3 & sport space professionals and voices I truly noticed years ago, who speaks his mind and says how it is, be it good, bad or ugly, when it comes down to fan tokens, NFTs, fan apps, digitalisation and web3. His company Capital Block is one of the most sought after web3 consultancies in the world and no wonder the likes of Binance and Ronaldo decided to engage him to drive that project forward. Tim rightly points out that whether it is Binance and Ronaldo, or smaller sporting properties, the challenges and politics and narrative are very similar - it’s got to be about education; you have to own it through your own channels; and his 3 questions that he asks every club owner or decision maker consist of WWH: 1. Why do my fans want it? 2. Why do we want to do it (as a club)? 3. How do we do it (in a simple way)? Rebuilding of trust and re-education not only for the clubs but also for the fans too now has to take place.
