🔍 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗴𝘆 🛠️ Manufacturing parts can be done through forging, casting, cutting, and powder metallurgy. In powder metallurgy, compressed and sintered powder forms complex, high-precision parts, ideal for automotive components due to cost efficiency and reduced production time. However, factors like powder quality, particle size, homogeneity, and temperature control during sintering and heat treatment critically affect the mechanical performance. Defective parts in mass production can cause significant issues if integrated into final products, like automobiles. To ensure quality, magneto-inductive test instruments are used. These instruments quickly assess part quality by placing them in an encircling coil, which contains an excitation and a receiver coil. When a specific frequency current induces a magnetic field in the material, eddy currents are generated. If the part’s quality is compromised, the eddy currents shift, triggering rejection. For optimal performance, we recommend the FOERSTER MAGNATEST test instrument paired with an encircling coil. 🔗 Learn more about Quality control in powder metallurgy: https://lnkd.in/gZcz6ucT 📧 For more information, please contact us at FOERSTER Middle East FZE (FME). #FOERSTER #FOERSTERMiddleEast #FME #WeMakeTheHiddenVisible #QualityControl #NonDestructiveTesting #NDT #MaterialsTesting #FOERSTERGroup #ComponentTesting #Automotive #Aerospace #EddyCurrent #MakingQualityVisible #MetalIndustry

💡 𝗦𝗠𝗖 🎯 Magnetically soft powder composites (SMC) allow the manufacturing of complex, three-dimensional components and play an increasingly important role in electric motor production, for example. These materials are characterized by a good permeability and a high magnetic saturation. At the same time, components made of SMC have low iron losses even at high frequencies. The measuring systems of FOERSTER allow a reliable quality monitoring of the annealing and the mechanical stress of magnetically soft components (SMC). 🔍 𝗞𝗢𝗘𝗥𝗭𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗖𝗝: The KOERZIMAT HCJ measuring system automatically and precisely determines the coercive field strength HCJ. 📧 For more information, please contact us at FOERSTER Middle East FZE (FME). #FOERSTER #FOERSTERMiddleEast #FME #WeMakeTheHiddenVisible #QualityControl #NonDestructiveTesting #NDT #MaterialsTesting #FOERSTERGroup #ComponentTesting #Automotive #Aerospace #EddyCurrent #MakingQualityVisible #MetalIndustry

🔍 Dealing with contaminated sites and unexploded ordnance involves understanding typical depths. Mines are generally near the surface, while unexploded ordnance and archaeological artifacts can be found deeper underground. In the #NearSurfaceDetection field, electromagnetic induction-based active metal detectors (#EMI) have shown great effectiveness. These detectors emit electromagnetic fields that induce eddy currents in buried metal objects, such as mines and ammunition. The resulting secondary field is then evaluated by the metal detector. 🌐 For deeper targets, large loops using pulse technology are the most effective. For ferromagnetic materials located in deeper position, passive magnetometers are utilized. These devices detect distortions in the Earth’s normally homogeneous magnetic field caused by ferromagnetic objects, allowing for their detection, evaluation, and display. 🌍🔎 🔗 You want to know more about this topic?
