“I have worked with Gianluigi in Italy while I was the Schlumberger’s country President and he was assigned as Project Director for a Gas Storage Project. Schlumberger owned the EPC contract for the subsurface and well construction part, and Gianluigi led the project from beginning to end, including planning, staffing and execution. The project had multiple levels of complexities, driven by the very sensitive geographical location, a complex regulatory environment, and management of multiple stakeholders, from governmental bodies to local communities. Gianluigi led the operations and delivered the project on time and within budget. Gianluigi was extremely well organized in his approach and managed to put structure in a complex operation, managing customer, third parties suppliers, and Schlumberger’s internal service organization very efficiently and effectively. In addition to extreme competence and effective leadership skills, Gianluigi has a pleasant and outgoing personality which makes him get the best out of people working around him.”
