    I was incomings officer responsible for attracting new student members to join Dublin University's Amnesty International society.
    I was tasked with leading the committee to recruiting the largest contingent of freshmen members by way of a new strategy of 'anti-doom-and-gloom'. Here, we ended our policy of recruiting new members through human rights abuses, but rather organised pub crawls, open-mic nights and competitions, and spread our message at these events.

    I have received similar awards at PAMUN (UNESCO, Paris), George Watson’s College and Royal Russell School (in Edinburgh and London respectively) conferences. In being presented with these awards, I had demonstrated consensus building abilities, oratory skills and knowledge of international affairs.
