Going forward, focus on finding influencers who truly align with your brand values. If needed, switch up your strategy. Instead of relying on a single mega influencer who could potentially damage your brand, consider partnering with multiple micro-influencers. They may not be as individually powerful, but together they can create a significant impact without the same level of risk.

Influencers are pros at managing public opinion, while brands excel in handling legal contracts. That's why it's smart for brands to address potential issues upfront during contract negotiations. Including a clear exit clause in the agreement ensures there's a defined process for resolving situations where business goals don't align or significant disagreements arise. It's about being prepared and protecting the brand's interests from the get-go. However, if the issue does become public, the brand needs to take a stance and clearly articulate its position using all relevant communication channels.

If values aren't aligning, it's best to part ways sooner rather than later and find influencers who truly resonate with the brand. Compromising on core values can come back to bite, especially with social media's long memory. It's crucial to stay true to brand and not let short-term gains overshadow long-term integrity.

You're struggling to develop content. What are the best practices for strategic thinking?
Developing content is not difficult. The real challenge lies in developing content that delivers upon the communication objectives. And, more often than not content writers start thinking ideas without understanding the communications context around which the content is being developed. The best way to overcome the problem of Content Ideas Famine, is to take one communication problem and break it into 3 sub problems. Break three sub-problems further into 3 sub-sub-problems each, and then each sub-sub problem into 3 sub-sub-sub problem. This granular vision of a problem, will give you 40 different perspectives to address the same problem. This is how, strategically, we ensure there is never a Cotent Ideas Famine at our end.
