Passionate about sport and nutrition, I made my passion for my job. I am curious and creative by nature, I love human sciences, with a particular focus on Cell Biology, Microbiology, Nutrition and Sport.

Biotechnologist by training (MSc-Rome, La Sapienza), I continued my studies across several universities, with a Master Degree in Human Nutrition and Metabolism (UB-Spain) and a PhD in the field of Sport Nutrition (Ghent University-Belgium / Aspire Academy, Doha, Qatar). I have an academic mindset which leads me into the scientific writing and it is the foundation of my logical thinking. I co-authored a book in the field "Microbiota and Sport" for the Italian Clorofilla Editore (Microbioma.it) and I co-authored several scientific publications in the microbiology field as well as sport nutrition and ergogenic supplements.

Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of a startup in the field of gut microbiota science applied to sports and longevity: Minutia.AI
I lead R&D projects for companies aimed to test the effect of their products on gut microbiota composition and function. I am responsible of B2C services to integrate gut microbiota analysis in performance enhancing programmes for athletes, football players, or any sport professional. The science of the gut microbiota can be applied to injury prevention and precision nutrition plans to allow optimal recovery and maximal physical and mental performance. Minutia Twin provides gut microbiota insights also in the longevity field, offering pioneering solutions for healthy aging and biological age predictions, identifying in our microbial metabolites key biomarkers of aging.
As a tech company we create probabilistic models to predict the complexity of biological systems, with a gut microbiome centered vision, realising unique products known as "Digital Twins".
