The company was incorporated in 1985 under a joint venture agreement between Al-Rushaid Petroleum Investment Co. Ltd and Dresser Industries Inc. USA (GE ENERGY –OIL GAS).
DARVICO’s products are Level transmitters, Instruments, safety valves, safety relief valves, control valves, accessories and valves spare parts.

Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic (SPSP) has been established to meet the needs of the Petroleum Services Industry and to support the Saudization of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was founded by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), Saudi Arabian Chevron, Saudi Aramco and Aramco Gulf Operations.

The Saudi Arabia Drilling Academy (SADA) presents a unique model where different companies join efforts collectively to create a unified and centralized training and development facility that serves and meets the requirement of the market as a whole. The academy fosters Saudization in the drilling industry and will create a localized pool of talents complemented by the creation of new job opportunities for Saudis, as outlined by Saudi Vision 2030.
