Alaska Army National Guard
The Alaska Army National Guard is comprised of approximately 2,000 Guardsmen from more than 20 areas around the state. Our Guardsmen are trained and prepared to serve and protect the state of Alaska and the nation.

297th Regional Support Group
The 297th RSG is a standalone unit that provides administrative, logistical, and operational support for five non-organic units. The 297th RSG is comprised of: HHC, 297th Regional Support Group; 297th Military Police Company; 207th Engineer Utilities Detachment; 208th Construction Management Team; 134th Public Affairs Detachment; 49th Personnel Detachment Theater Gateway (TG).
38th Troop Command
The 38th Troop Command is a trained and ready force of trusted professionals who are always prepared to perform their duty to accomplish all assigned State and Federal missions. The brigade will perform its missions honorably by living the Army values both on and off duty. We perform our missions in order to serve our country and support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the State of Alaska.
