AkLA is a nonprofit professional organization for the employees, volunteers and advocates at academic, public, school, tribal, and special libraries of all sizes in Alaska, as well as library products and services vendors.  The goals of the organization are to promote vibrant libraries that deliver outstanding services to their users and to provide professional development opportunities.
