Minimal intervention wines from the heart of Armenia for curious wine lovers. A family-owned winery in Ararat Valley.

About us

You've tasted the old and new worlds, now it is time for the Ancient world: taste Armenian wine. Tushpa Wine Cellar brings inspiration with passionate winemaking and minimum intervention. Taking care of our native grapes we let them speak for themselves, creating unique wines that tell the story of the Ararat Valley terroir. Tushpa is a family-owned and managed winery located in the heart of the Ararat Valley, 35 km west of downtown Yerevan. Settled beneath the Biblical Mount Ararat. With over 6,000 years of Armenian wine traditions, TUSHPA aims to stay true to the best original practices that have made Armenian wine so sought after. One of these such practices is spontaneous fermentation and zero-intervention which is found in our natural red wines. Founded in 1992 by Mihran Manasserian, the winery is named for the historic area of Tushpa, now known as Van, from where our ancestors originated. Mihran Manasserian creates remarkable wines through winemaking traditions that his ancestors, passed down to him. He and his son Abraham combine these traditions with modern technologies to create the unforgettable essence of our wines.
