Australia's most popular baby names in 2022 have been revealed in a newly released analysis, with a mix of long-time favourites and rising stars taking out the top ten.
While traditional names continue to prove popular, Millennial parents are increasingly drawn to new and creative ways of spelling them, with Sofia vying with Sophia in popularity, as Holly takes a new form as Hallie.
Oliver continues to stand out as the overall favourite, with 2,276 baby boys given the name - almost 400 more than the next contender - according to new data released by research agency McCrindle.

Theodore continued its rise in popularity, making it into the top ten boys' names for the first time.
It was a tighter competition for most popular girl name, with the top three picks all within 50 incidents of each other.
Charlotte has reclaimed its top place as the most popular girls' name with 1,394 parents choosing to name their babies
Unlike the boy names, there are no new additions to the top ten girl names in 2022.
Vintage names are also having a comeback, with Vincent, Lennox, Nora and Adeline all making it back into the top 100.
