A natural lift and reminder!
I had on pre-order so this coincided with the Spring equinox. I like how Kirsty sets out her books, simple and natural flow of the seasons. I have just finished chapter six and taking my time to read with the seasons. I have picked up a few times and re-read some of this first part, just by opening and seeing which message pops up. It is telling me to listen, listen to the natural rhythm, to my essence, to the morning chorus. Would recommend!

I'm a huge fan of Kirsty and everything she writes. She has a warmth to her words which makes you feel like she's talking to you and her language is simple and accessible to all. I've been on this path for most of my life but this is the best book on seasons I've read. There's just SO much detail for each season and I can't wait to use it all year round. This book is amazing. Kirsty Gallagher has such a way of communicating that makes it really easy to understand all the messaging she is bringing to the world. It looks like it's going to be scarily spiritual, but actually it's such plain English and straightforward messages that it's very obvious what she's talking about. The core of this is the need to connect back with nature and her cycles. We can do this in whatever way is most meaningful for us. There's no pushing to do it one way or another - just suggestions on the key points then it's up to the reader to work out how they will interpret and implement them. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone - regardless of whether they already in tune with the seasons or not.

I wasn't going to order this as i have been celebrating equinoxes and sabbats for years but as i have enjoyed Kirsty's lunar website and offerings i decided to pre-order and i am so glad i did.

I may have been very familiar with the topics involved but this book is really accessible and felt respectful of the traditions it incorporated.

It was a lovely read and a book i will be coming back to repeatedly as i celebrate the wheel of the year with an astronomical slant. Great for beginners but has a place for more knowledgeable practices too.
