I've used these, bigger one specifically, over the past year to bake bread in the oven at 425 degrees, 40 minutes max. I don't transfer it from hot to cold quickly, I let it cool off over time.I noticed the bottom is starting to crack/split on the one I use most (once a month max on average, probably less often).You can see in the pictures, light lines in container. I'm tossing it because now when I feel those lines they feel like small cracks, not just discoloration.I couldn't find anything showing a temp limit but hottest these were cooked in was 425 degrees Fahrenheit.VERY DISAPPOINTED that I've had for about 2 years, barely used and it's cracking.Warning to others to watch so it doesn't explode in oven.

I was looking for a backup 1 1/2 qt corning ware casserole to back up the vintage one I have had for 35 years. Was quite pleased to get this set. The 16 oz arrived broken in the box but I contacted the maker and they replaced it promptly. I used the 1 1/2 qt 3 times in the past few weeks and it was excellent and easy to clean. Unfortunately, I was putting it in the fridge this evening and due to my own negligence I dropped it spilling the contents in the fridge and on the floor and broke the baking dish, the lid survived. I will purchase again. The breakage was purely my fault and not surprising. Firm believer in the quality of the corning ware bake ware.

From time to time, I’ll break one and replace it. Or after 20 years, one will start to look old and stained. In this order, the two larger ones are replacements for ones no longer usable. The third dish is extremely small and not that useful to me. But the price of the set was good for just the larger two.
