A few things....1. Water taste great, doesnt matter if its coming from a faucet or from the britta filtered water in my fridge, it taste like plain simple water.2. The other reviews that mention overflow from the straw are correct. Every once in a while when i open the top, water is already sitting at the top of the straw and will start to continuously overflow immidiately as if pressure was built up and is pushing the water out. Its not all the time but i havent figured out the actual cause yet since its been infrequent and inconsistent. ( i thought maybe filling past the max fill line is what casued it but in the pics i posted i have the bottle filled to the brim and no overflow happening..so as you can tell, idk.) Doesnt bother me too much since the reason im opening the bottle is to take a drink anyway, i just make sure to look at the bottle after i open the top, no biggie(for me)3. I have had trouble getting the lid off to refill. Once when i 1st got it and last week (like 3 days i couldnt get that thing off....could have been user error tho.Overall its a travel size bottle with a LifeStraw in it...to me, its worth the cost and i dont regret the purchase.

I bought 5 of these water bottles to use in Europe. The one-liter is slightly bigger and will not fit in a regular cup holder. The filtration is excellent and the water tastes really good coming from a tap in our hotel. The only complaint is the water bottle sometimes builds up pressure and will leak when you take the top off to take a drink. Also, going through TSA you need to make sure you pour the water out as you cannot drink it all through the filtration straws.

I bought it for the design, because the Brita filter water bottle I had was a bit too high profile as well as having its own weaknesses.

Its a good water bottle, filters as expected and as previously mentioned looks and functions great. I love the big handle it has and general feel.

Main issue I have is that the water bottle tends to build up pressure and overflow for no reason once you open it. Not sure why it happens, could be warm room, shook it too much during carry, or maybe the airway gets obstructed.

Regardless, outside of the occasional water explosion the product is good.

I purchased this water bottle for my mission trip to Guatemala and loved it. I was referred to this brand from one of my team members. I read some reviews saying it was hard to drink from at first, and that was the case for me too. However, it wasn't too bad. The only issue I had with this water bottle was when we were on the plane and we tried to drink from these, the pressure built up in the bottle drenched us when we removed the lids. Other than that, I love this bottle and will be referring it to anyone who is needing to purchase a filtered water bottle.

If you go places where the water is sketchy, and you don't even want whatever off brand water is around, this bottle is amazing. One thing you need to know is that the filter works somewhat like a big straw. You cannot chug water form this bottle, but you must sip/suck it out. A plus is that you cannot just spill massive amounts of water. I love this bottle because I can fill up from any sink in airports and I have clean water to drink.

I have never written a review before, but felt it necessary for this purchase. I love that this bottle actually does what it’s supposed to - filters water, and that the company provides safe drinking water to third world countries. I’m currently in Africa - the bottle definitely filters water and it tastes good. But, even with half the amount of water, it spews water out the spout when opened. Only thing I can figure is that it’s so sealed, which it really has to be in order to truly filter water, that pressure builds up inside. Obviously, this cannot be used on an airplane - it spews out like a water fountain! But, this is happening on the ground in the Gambia.

Also, I really dislike the lid detaches all together. It would be so much better if it were somehow attached to the bottle. It’s just difficult if you’re needing both hands when in the middle of projects or carrying things.

If they could figure out a way to help with pressurization and make a model with an attached lid, I’d give this product 5 stars. However, with these design flaws, it makes it not just a nuisance, but a real problem given certain situations.
