ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Position: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the performance of electrical works activities following Electrical Supervisor instructions and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient functioning of all aspects of the electrical aspect of this installation,including switching operations.
• Carry out regular routine inspections of the entire electrical installation and to be proactive in maintaining high standards.
• Keep the Electrical Supervisor informed of all developments and activities. Direct and work with the electrical operator. Provide feedback on performance issues to the Electrical Supervisor and on the job training where required.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure that electrical defects are dealt with properly.
  
  

Qualifications

• ONC in electrical engineering or equivalent or proven experience
• Experience in FPSO operations desirable
• High Voltage (11 kV) experience and certification
  
  

Language: Fluent in English

Labour Relationship: Fixed term contract

Years of Experience: 5 years experience offshore
