Update is diabolical

This new version is beyond words to describe it. I like the old version as it did face recognition which was great, but this version each and every time asks you for your email address and password then asks if you want facial recognition which I always say yes because it makes my life easier. Well the facial recognition doesn’t work, so why ask for it if it’s not available? Trying to get to chat to someone is a feat in itself because it’s almost impossible to find the button. They just want you to look at the Q&A’s which in most cases are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard! When you do eventually find it, and you have to dig hard to do so, you are faced with speaking to a chatbot which is almost guaranteed to raise your blood pressure. I now have learned to get past this by insisting to speak to a human which you are then passed to. Curry’s need to read these reviews because clearly there is an awful lot of unhappy and very angry customers out there. How hard can it be to use an app just to view your current bill and to see what you have left on your data etc? In Curry’s eyes it would seem quite hard! For heavens sake Curry’s sort these problems out, and do yourselves a favour by testing out the software first before you make it public.

See update. Terrible ‘oops….something went wrong’

Update, the issue is back regarding seeing data, not even been two whole months! No one can answer any questions and as before I’m asked to try all sorts of nonsensical things which waste my time, just stabbing in the dark and no explanation given for what is going on, which I suspect they don’t know. . The company is a joke,how can it be a tech company will it can’t even sort out it’s tech by itself in the background?? Plus the coverage is pretty shocking, constantly having a bad signal when connecting to an external Wi-Fi went out and about. I am extremely irritated just sort it out so I can see my data PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Joined recently, can’t see my plans either on the app or the website. Tried logging in to both from my phone and from my Mac. Messenger customer service are very quick to respond but it’s the same fob off, no details as to the issue or when it will be fixed. Very frustrating. Updated to 4* as since uploading this review my app miraculously started working! No one updated me to let me know it was fixed so I’ve no idea of this was iD Mobile being proactive finally but I’m happy now, shouldn’t have been such an issue in the first place though!

New update doesn’t work UPDATED

I’ve been a happy customer for years until this update. I don’t access my account very often but needed to check my data as I was away without wifi. I couldn’t get it, it said it had updated to a new app and I needed to enter my mobile number, name and date of birth. It then proceeded to tell me they didn’t match with what was held!!! None of these have changed in the last 10 years. I tried resetting and it said it would send me an email to verify my account, this didn’t happen. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling as others have suggested but I still need this email to verify which I don’t get, yes I have checked my junk folders. I’ve now emailed the support team and are waiting a reply. It would have been a lot easier if they just migrated customers details across to the new app.
UPDATE Beth on the app support desk was very helpful and we got the problem resolved which was due to me using a different email address on the new set up. All now good and I’m back to being able to access my account, thanks Beth.
