RainToday 4+

I live in the UK and the obsession with weather here is fatal! You can't plan anything in advance as you never know what the weather will do and how it will affect your plans.
Queue "Rain Today" .....
this great little helper has saved me from downpours many times and has (mostly very accurately) predicted how the days weather will play out. Together with "Weather Pro" these are my "go-to" apps if I want to plan any events or just not get wet!
The great UI, clearly shown predictions and nicely designed simple graphics, make it a great app to have!

The free version is fine, although there are some limitations as you would expect. Having then decided to pay the annual subscription for the premium version I was deeply disappointed with what I got. To be honest, I couldn’t see the difference. Couldn’t find anything in settings that improved the offer or my experience, such as lengthening the rainfall timeline. Two conversations with customer support were of no use whatsoever, and didn’t actually answer all of my questions. Oh, and you have to pay twice under this new subscription arrangement if you want to have it on both your iPad and iPhone, even though it’s your same Apple ID.
I won’t be renewing my subscription, and I’ll be deleting this app. In future I’ll stick with, what I think are better apps - Rain Alarm XL or Zoom Earth

By far the best weather app I have used for short forecasts showing an hour ahead. It has been extremely accurate and is great if you like the outdoors. However I am starting to use it less due to advertisements.
The down side is now it has adverts that appear and you have to wait quite a while to be able to get rid of them and the x is very small and annoying as if you are on the move and don’t hit the x it takes you to the App Store for the advertised app. Very very annoying. Please remove or make them easier to dismiss. If you can put up with advertising, then I recommend it.
