Description

When will it be good to fly your quadcopter? See the weather forecast, GPS satellites, solar activity (Kp), No-Fly Zones and flight restrictions, all in one convenient tool. Perfect for DJI Mini, Mavic, Air, Phantom, and Inspire, Skydio, Parrot Bebop, Yuneec, and many other Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.

The free version shows a limited number of hours of forecast. Become a subscriber for the full 7-day or 15-day hourly forecast and many other features. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price you originally paid. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

New to drones - great app 😍

Essential, even the free basic version, to drone noobs. It’ll advise you when it’s advisable and not advisable to fly. Obviously you have to account for your drones wind resistance (available from your drones manufact. info) and your skill using the drone in windy conditions, say.
You can set the parameters to meet these conditions so as to advise you, based on your settings selection, whether to fly or not, as soon as you boot the app up.
Just got the $0.99 per month sub so I can see the common Info for the next 24 hours.

Brilliant!

Very helpful indeed - I don’t fly my drone without referring to this app.
I recommend it to everyone who flies one and wish I’d known about it when I first started - I might otherwise not have had mine caught by a gust of wind and blown into the leaves of a tree!

Dodgy Data

I suppose an app like this is only as good as the data it receives and it is way off most of the time. For instance, right now it says gusts of 28mph yet outside it is perhaps around 3-4mph and my weather station backs that up. If I went by the data in this app I would never fly as I am not kidding, the vast majority of the time it tells me it’s not safe to fly when it is clearly not the case - and then they want you to pay almost £30 a year subscription - having a laugh for what is in essence a weather app. There are free sources online for wind speed at various altitudes etc.
