Great app
So I was scrolling through video editor apps then I cam across VN then I downloaded, it was for free, most of the other apps we have to pay for. All of the editing bits are so exquisite and unique. Plus there are no watermarks which is great since on other apps there are most of the time watermarks. There are so many things to make videos great on this app such as: Music, words/writing, blur stuff out with mosaic and stuff, splitting, speed of video, filters, stickers, images, reversing and the great thing is is that it never glitches. Best video editing app ever!!!
Great interface but that’s it
I don’t ever review apps, but this one is definitely one worth reviewing. I’m honestly astounded by the amount of good reviews and that’s the very reason I fell for the trap of downloading the app in the first place. I’ve had issues with technical faults with my usual programme on my computer so I had to find something and sadly the best free ones, although still limited) are on my phone. Now, don’t get me wrong, the actual interface for what it’s worth, is great! But that’s it, you want to export it? No can do, unless you want the whole thing to take up all your phone space. And then if you actually succeed in that you have the file type issue: your project comes out in a .VN file type. There’s no other way to it, I asked customer service and they said the only way to open it is through their programme/app. What’s the point in that when you most likely want to share it to the world like I do? I really do not recommend wasting all your time and effort creating masterpieces if it can’t even leave the app, I’m sorry.
Always used this app but disappointed recently
I’ve always been happy using this app. It’s super user friendly and it’s comprehensively built. The best part is that it’s free and the exported videos always turn out to be of a great quality. However, recently, on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, whenever I export a video, the result is horribly choppy. This has never happened before but now, each video I export is laggy and choppy. The video feels so rough and it feels like it was captured from a low quality phone, which is not good at all. When I export the video in HDR, the video isn’t laggy or choppy but I’ve always disliked HDR videos because of the lack of colour. That’s why whenever I export, I turn off the HDR, but that ends up exporting a choppy and laggy video. Wish there was a fix to this. I don’t want to stop using this app. This is the only good one available!
