Listen to Superfrickingstar

Everything Superfrickingstar said is spot on - please make formatting and organisation improvements. I only use Journal cause it feels (questionable) more private than Google Keep or Notes apps, but lack of formatting is disappointing. Also having “Contacts” as a suggestion by default led to this neurodivergent brain having a moment cause I saw the face of a contact I didn’t want to see in my “private” _safe_ journaling space. PLEASE make this off by default for the sake of others who may experience the same thing.

Great but needs upgrades quickly.

Very useful but it needs to be for iPad as well and even more importantly it needs a search function. It is crazy to have to scroll through countless entries to get to a specific date or topic etc. Ideally a “word” search and a calendar to click on to bring up a day will be added soon. I’m surprised it wasn’t built in straight away. Or is it there and I’m missing it?
Still waiting for a Search and Calendar view 🤷. I see now how it uses data picked up from your phone during the day so an iPad version wouldn’t do that until it syncs with your phone so I’m guessing the only reason for this App is data revenue for Apple and an iPad version not a revenue boost.

Handy prompts, easy to use

I always struggle with journalling consistently because I’m never quite sure what to use as a starting point. Things of note, no problem, I can journal that. Having access to this, combined with photos and other data, and getting suggestions on what I can use as my jumping off point makes this a really compelling package. Will definitely be making an effort to check in and reflect more.
