🌟 Leading the Geospatial Revolution in Agriculture 🚜 🌍 At The Yield Lab Latam, we are working in collaboration with the Cultivar community on a study of the use of geospatial technology in the agribusiness sector. Since March 2024, along with Cultivar St. Louis, we have engaged researchers, startups, food companies, producer groups, investors, and ecosystem builders in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and the USA. 🔍 Our goal is to standardize technologies and data to improve technological adoption in the sector. ⚽ Agribusiness Takes Over the Football Field at GAFFFF 🌾 On June 28, The Yield Lab Latam participated in the groundbreaking Global Agribusiness Festival at Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil. This unique event brought agribusiness to one of the largest football stadiums, creating an exciting fusion of industries. 🚜🌍 Three of our portfolio companies—TerraMagna umgrauemeio, and SEEDZ—showcased their innovations as exhibitors. The festival gathered hundreds of speakers and panelists to discuss critical topics for the agribusiness sector. Our Managing Partner, Kieran Gartlan, moderated the panel "The Technological Future of Agribusiness," featuring insights from Fabricio Pezente, CEO of Traive; Jomar Silva, Developer Relations Manager for Latam at Nvidia; and Rafael Coelho, co-founder of Sette. They shared valuable experiences on technological and financial inclusion in agribusiness and the readiness of current technology to "communicate" with the field. With over 15,000 attendees over two days, this event was a massive success, driving forward the conversation on the future of agribusiness. 🌟

After more than six years of relationship building between our organizations in Latin America and the St. Louis region, emerging partnerships are set to drive economic growth locally and abroad while bolstering food security efforts.
