"My job is to ensure that every person with a disability has the opportunity to be involved in agriculture." - Carolina Alfredo Benesse As a farmer and Disability Inclusion Facilitator (DIF) in the #SPARK Programme in Mozambique, Carolina is making a real difference. In a recent interview on IFAD's "Farms. Food. Future." podcast, she shared insights into her work: "By giving inputs and the necessary equipment to do agriculture work, our district benefits from the programme. The community is starting to see that people with disabilities can do something for their community and themselves." Carolina highlights transportation as a major barrier for people with disabilities, especially women, in achieving sustainable livelihoods through farming. Want to learn more about Carolina's impactful work?
