How can sensitivity analysis identify risks and opportunities in your revenue forecast?
In Excel it's really easy to setup. You have different options depending on the type of sensitivity analysis you need to do: There's Goal Seek, Data Table and Scenario manager. To get to them, you'll have to go to the Data Tab / What-If-Analysis section. The easiest option and the best way to get started with sensitivity analysis tools is to get familiar with Goal Seek. This is a major time saver when you know the goal you want to achieve - basically you know the result you want your formula to deliver, but you don't know the exact value the input should have. You don't need to guess because that can be time consuming. You can simply use Goal Seek.
